Sketch - $5

Hand-drawn pencil sketch, little to no clean-up, rough shading and detail. Examples:

Sketch with Color - $7

Same as above, only scanned into Photoshop and colored roughly. Examples:

Pencil Drawing - $10

Hand-drawn rendered pencil drawing, cleaned, with refined shading and detail. Examples:

Pencil Drawing with Color - $12

Same as above, only scanned into Photoshop and colored roughly. There are currently no examples of this.

Inked Drawing - $12 to $15

Hand-drawn in pencil, then either inked by hand with Micron pens or scanned in and "inked" digitally in Photoshop. Price depends on what level of detail you need. Examples:

Digitally Colored - $13 to $20

Hand-drawn in pencil, cleaned, inked by hand or digitally, then colored in Photoshop. Price depends on what level of detail you need, and whether you want flat colors with no shading, flat colors with hard shading (cel shading), or soft colors (airbrush). Examples:
$13: $15: $18: $20: N/A

Hand-colored (Marker) - $20

Hand-drawn in pencil, cleaned, inked, then colored with Prismacolor markers (I have 200+ markers, so the color range is extensive). Shading will always be flat (cel shading) with markers. Examples:

Hand-colored (Pencil) - $25 and up

$25 and up
Hand drawn in pencil, then colored with great detail using Prismacolor colored pencils. Price depends on what level of detail you need, but will generally be $25 unless you need something very furry or scaly or with an otherwise complicated texture. Examples:

Digital Painting - $20 and up

All digital, from sketch to finished product. I don't do a lot of these, but if you really want one, I'll try my best. These turn out best with photo reference provided. Note me with details on what you need and I can give you an exact quote. Examples:

Pixel Art - $5 and up

Price varies based on size, detail, quantity, whether or not animation is needed, and whether I am editing a pre-existing base or creating a base from scratch. Note me with details on what you need and I can give you an exact quote. Examples:

Avatar, Banner, Stamp, Wallpaper, etc - $5

This is for basically any graphic for use in forums, websites, your desktop, etc. Price is for any of these graphics created using text, simple graphics, and pre-existing images. If it requires more than 4 frames of animation, please add $2. If you need an avatar that is a customized sprite, please see the Pixel Art section above. Examples:

All prices listed above include one person or person-sized creature, with any of their "equipment" (armor, weapons, musical instruments, other worn or weilded accessories). For more options, see pricing below:

Tiny creature with simple colors, such as a mouse, small bird, spider or scorpion, bat, squirrel, etc: Free

Small creature such as a cat, small dog, large bird, lizard, fairy, etc:

Large creature such as another person or person-sized creature, a horse, gryphon, dragon, rhinocerous, squid, etc:

Vehicle such as a car, truck, motorcycle, mecha, etc. (If it is a fantasy vehicle, from an anime/game, or a mecha, references must be provided!)

Customization Options - Backgrounds

All prices listed above include either a transparent, solid-colored, or simple gradient background. For more options, see pricing below:

$2: background includes a simple pattern or design, or is a pre-existing background painting from the stock bg gallery at rubberslug.com. Examples:


$5: simple original background art, done digitally. May include things like flames, a column, a stage curtain, and other more abstract concepts. Examples:


$10: simple interior (window, wall and floor, 1 or 2 items of furniture), simple exterior (flat shaded, simple landscape with sun and clouds or moon and stars), etc. I will generally adjust the shading and lighting effects so that the character fits more naturally into the requested background. Examples:


For anything more complex, such as a cityscape, a complex landscape, with either more detail (such as grass or dirt textures) or more elements (bodies of water, a forest, a view overlooking a town, etc), or a cluttered interior (with many items of furniture or more detailed furniture), please note me for a price.

Also, if you are having the original shipped to you, it is not a print, and you need an original background created BY HAND, note me for a price.

Delivery and Payment

All art will be delivered digitally to your e-mail account, in printable resolution (300 dpi, or higher if requested). If you want the original art sent to you physically, please add $5 for shipping via priority mail, or $10 for printing and shipping if the art is digital.

If you pay through PayPal, please add fifty cents to cover transfer fees.
