Mara

This is freaking ancient... like from 2004 or 2005. It's Mara in her standard demon dress from the manga, only done in a more anime style. I drew this when ~MrsKittie decided to cosplay Mara, and we needed a good reference pic.

Personally, I hate this picture. This was back when I drew everyone with big chunky legs and giant feet. Her eyes are too close together, the proportions are really wonky, and I'd been reading nothing but Hellsing so the shading is much too bold for the subject matter. But there's been some requests for me to post my Mara art, and I don't have a lot of time to draw new art of her. I have some other, better sketches of her which I'll eventually post as well, but I figure I'll post the worst first and get it over with.
